It’s all been a bit hush hush… But finally we are SUPER excited to announce a collaboration with HospiceCare North Northumberland and Mike Ridley .
Inspired by the Lakeland Festival Of Light in the Lake District, our aim is to create a huge light installation on Humbleton Hill by using YOU! Hopefully hundreds of people, all with torches will walk from Wooler, up onto Humbleton Hill and create a huge line of light stretching from the bottom of the hill, all the way to the top and maybe even down the other side!
There will be photographers there to capture this amazing spectacle from both close up and from a distance.
This will be seen for miles around and promises to be one of most impressive “temporary” vistas Glendale has ever seen!
All monies raised for this event celebrating 25 years of the Hospice Care Northumberland. HospiceCare is a community nurse-led service working in partnership with Primary Health Care Teams, Social Services, Hospitals and other voluntary organisations. They are the main provider of palliative care in North Northumberland. Their specialist Hospice at Home care and support is delivered 365 days a year, day or night, planned or in a crisis situation.
